Tutu photos

This is a tutu I made from the design of Rhapsody in Blue by Roberta di Bagnio originally for the prodution of Strictly Gershwin which was performed by the English National Ballet.

Final project

I am currently working on my final project at university which is a Ginger Rogers dress from the film top hat. I am just at the cutting stage and have sourced my fabrics ready for cutting out.
I go to Kansas on Monday for the USITT conference which will be a great opportunity to further my knowledge of the industry and meet new contacts. I am a student volunteer so will be helping the running of the conference but do not know my specific role as yet.

Backstage at the Lighthouse

This is a backstage shot of the actress in my costume for Dracula's Wife. I dressed her throughtout the run which had many quick changes and was an interesting experiance. I am really pleased with the results of the costume and I think it looked good on stage.

I have recently worked on the production of Dracula at the Lighthouse in Poole. This is a production shot of the costume I made for Dracula's Wife (the one on the right at the top).

A sunday in the Park with George

This is a costume for the character of the Mother in A Sunday in the Park with George. It was inspired by the painting le Demanche Gran Jatte by George Seurat.
The design was from the National Theatre's archive.

This is a costume for the Opera Abduction from the Harem by Mozart. I made the costume for Osmin which had 18th Century and Turkish influences.
